Soulframe Weapons Guide

Complete weapons guide for Soulframe Preludes 15: weapon families, Nightfold synergy, Chordstone refining, and Pact matching.

Weapon Fundamentals

Weapons in Soulframe define your basic attack strings, Nightfold modifiers, and Smite animations. Unlike Pacts, weapons are swappable at hubs and through crafting. Preludes 15 adjusted heavy weapon startup and ghost damage tagging on several families.

Each weapon belongs to a family — great blades, reapers, spears, daggers, bows, focus implements — with distinct Chordstone scaling curves. Read scaling before refining expensive stones.

Acquisition Paths

Early weapons come from main quest rewards and TUVALKANE blacksmith recipes. Mid-game gear drops from Agari elites, Torment Stag, and Cogah hard mode. Trading supplements bind-on-equip exceptions listed in the trading guide.

Duplicate weapons are dismantle fodder unless Chordstone rolls are exceptional — always review roll preview UI added in Gods & Ghosts.

Nightfold and Smite Interaction

Weapon movesets alter Nightfold duration and Smite camera angles. Parry-centric weapons favor Tethren; rapid light chains favor Grace Pacts. Test in training yard after every major weapon swap.

Ghost-type enemies may require Nightfold-active damage — weapon element labels note ethereal compatibility post-P15 patch.

Long-Term Progression

Chordstones and Tempers elevate weapons more than base rarity jumps. A green weapon with purple Tempers outperforms fresh blue drops in many simulations. Plan virtue calculator breakpoints around expected weapon stats.
