At TennoCon 2026 (July 11, 2026), Digital Extremes opened Soulframe Preludes sign-ups through July 12, 11:59 p.m. ET. Accounts created during this window receive permanent Preludes access — not a temporary trial. Founders retain all existing perks; waitlist players gain the same client build.

Mendicant Reinbreaker — Live Now

The Mendicant Reinbreaker Agari boss shipped during TennoCon week. This mounted Ode'n menace pairs a corrupted rider with an indentured steed. Defeating the encounter frees the horse for future befriending — a tease for mount progression systems arriving later in 2026.

Warsongs Fable — Fall 2026

Warsongs is the next major Soulframe Fable quest, targeting Fall 2026. The story interleaves present-day Midrath with childhood flashbacks — including playable segments as a beaver companion. Antagonist Tempest Bayor, voiced by Ben Starr, represents a Synod-aligned Envoy opposing your restoration path.

TennoLive demoed over thirty minutes of Warsongs gameplay: whip-sword combat, boomerang harvesting, Citadel-in-the-sky lore teases, and wolf-back traversal sequences.

Vadagar Pact — Anti-Virtue Progression

Vadagar is a corrupted Pact launching with Warsongs. Instead of Courage, Spirit, and Grace, Envoys channel Vespers: Doom, Death, and Wrath. Abilities include exploding boomerangs, ichor tendrils, and corrosive steed stampedes that leave damaging pools.

Digital Extremes framed Vadagar as an "anti-Envoy" path — healing Alca through controlled corruption rather than pure virtue. Balance numbers remain pre-alpha; do not assume tier rankings until the build ships.

Mounts and Fishing — Coming to Preludes

Mount traversal arrives in 2026, starting with wolves from the Orengall Fable "The She-Wolf Snared." Players must bond with the pup through trust activities before riding at full speed. TennoLive showed four-player wolf packs sprinting across Midrath.

Fishing is catch-and-release only — consistent with Soulframe's restoration tone. Blighted rivers need Envoy aid; expect Spirit or Grace tools to integrate with the mini-game when it lands.
