Friend Codes Overview

Friend codes are invite tokens granted to Soulframe Founders. Each code allows one person to bypass the waitlist and install Preludes on PC. In Preludes 15: Gods & Ghosts, friend codes remain one of the primary ways groups assemble for coordinated content like Agari chains, Cogah hard mode, and Torment Stag progression.

Codes are generated through the official launcher or account portal after Founder purchase verification. They are single-use: once redeemed, the code cannot be recycled. Unused codes may expire when a new prelude replaces the client — check Devstream notes before hoarding codes across major version bumps.

Redeeming a friend code requires a Digital Extremes account. The invitee downloads the same Preludes build as every other player and receives no gameplay advantage beyond earlier access. There is no promo-code alternative; friend codes are the only shareable invite mechanism.

Generating and Distributing Codes

Founders access the code management panel from the Soulframe launcher settings or web account page. Copy a code and send it through a private channel — never post publicly on social media, where bots scrape and redeem codes within seconds. If a code leaks, treat it as spent and generate a new one if your tier allows.

Consider the order you invite players. A friend who understands parry timing and Virtue planning helps your group more than a random redeemer from a public post. For static teams, align invites with your Agari farming schedule so newcomers immediately join productive sessions rather than solo struggling in Dermak Undercity.

Founder tiers differ in code quantity. If you need more invites than your tier provides, additional friends must use the waitlist. Digital Extremes occasionally grants bonus codes during Devstream celebrations — follow official channels rather than third-party giveaways.

Redeeming as an Invitee

Invitees log into the official Soulframe site, navigate to the redemption field, and enter the code exactly as provided. Hyphenation and capitalization matter. After successful redemption, the launcher will show Preludes as installable within minutes; if not, log out and back in before opening a support ticket.

New players should complete the tutorial and read the beginner guide before burning group content attempts. Friend-code access does not skip learning Nightfold, Smite, or Totem socket rules introduced in Preludes 15.

Security and Scams

Never pay real money for friend codes on unofficial marketplaces. Scammers sell already-redeemed or fraudulent codes. Founders should never ask for payment in exchange for codes — that violates community guidelines and risks account action.

If someone claims to sell "Founder account sharing" for hourly access, refuse. Account sharing breaches terms of service and exposes both parties to bans, especially with trading enabled in Preludes 15.
