Soulframe Settings Guide
Optimize Soulframe Preludes 15 settings for performance, combat clarity, and accessibility on PC.
Graphics and Performance
Preludes 15 ghost zones add volumetric fog and spectral particles that stress GPUs. Start with preset Medium at 1080p, then raise shadows and effects individually while monitoring FPS in Agari crowds — a better stress test than empty hub areas.
Disable motion blur and film grain for parry readability. Texture streaming prefers SSD; NVMe reduces pop-in when sprinting into Pigwen Skerry events. Frame generation features depend on GPU vendor support in the live build — verify patch notes after driver updates.
Combat Clarity
Telegraph contrast and enemy highlight sliders help ethereal attacks stand out during Gods & Ghosts quests. Damage numbers can clutter Smite windows; many players enable numbers only outside boss fights.
Camera shake intensity affects Torment Stag phase transitions. Reduce shake if you lose track of hoof telegraphs. Lock-on behavior is adjustable for mixed keyboard and controller setups.
Audio and Communication
Footstep and ability audio cues telegraph parryable attacks. Headphones are strongly recommended for Cogah hard mode. Separate sliders exist for music, SFX, and voice — duck music during learning sessions.
Push-to-talk defaults vary by platform overlay. Disable conflicting voice chat from third-party apps that steal focus during Smite prompts.
Accessibility and Input
Colorblind filters, subtitle sizing, and hold-to-toggle sprint assist players with diverse needs. Pre-alpha accessibility options expand each prelude; report gaps through official feedback tools.
Backup control profiles to a local file before experimental rebinding. If a patch corrupts binds, restore defaults then re-import rather than reinstalling the full client.
